The Founder

Hello! Iam Janay, the founder and CeO of Homestyle Jaycare. I have 20 yrs of experience working with newborns and toddlers. I’m now also a Dona trained doula and love helping new mothers with labor/delivery. I also work with helping families transition back to real life after baby is born. I Have experience with postpartum and sleep training as well. The most fun fact about me is that I am 1 of 13 siblings, so raising kids is what I do best lol. I cant wait to meet you and start working with your family, wether its with our family childcare or doula services, I look forward to serving each and every one of your families needs.

Our School

We are a large family Christian in home daycare. We also extend our services with doula and postpartum services as well.

Homestyle Jaycare was started by myself Janay Cook in 2009. Being raised in a large family allowed me to gain the confidence and experience I need to build a safe environment for children and parents alike. I have studied child psychology, child development as well doula training. I have 15 years of childcare experiences and new to the doula world. Have been a doula for two years and I absolutely love it! It is my greatest joy to serve and grow with each family that I encounter.

Our Program is dedicated to reaching and teaching a new generation of children while building relationships with the parents. Encouraging them from birth all the way to school, that they can change the world anyway they choose to. We dedicate ourselves in building positive relationships not only with the children but the parents as well (hence the doula program). We nurture and cultivate relationships with parents from day-to-day to assist in the giving of life in order to transition kiddos into the daycare world. Parents have a strong sense of trust in their caregiver, which allows an easier transition for both parent and child to transition into future endeavors (childcare/workforce).

Mission

Homestyle Jaycare’s mission is to serve all of the orange county and La County with good quality childcare for ages newborn-12yrs of age. It is also my mission to help mothers to be with a smooth birth plan to a new journey into motherhood.

Vision

Our vision is to support parents in their own personal birth plan during labor. We also have a goal to help with transition into childcare, while creating a fun safe environment for children. This environment will allow children to learn, grow and explore in all types of play based and faith-based activities.

Core Values

Our core values are simple lol letting children stay children as long as they can be. We do things like garden, play in the dirt, field trips, and more. We engage in simply learning through play. We also pride ourselves in smooth transitions while allowing all parties involved to have the confidence in a successful journey through birth and daycare history.
